Candice Candice joined The Partnership at Drugfree.org Public Affairs team in June 2007 and today serves as the Assistant Director, Public Affairs and Join Together Managing Editor. She is focused on public relations, communications and social media strategies in support of many of The Partnership at Drugfree.org’s parenting resources and educational initiatives for families. Her primary responsibilities include editorial management, production and analysis of Join Together, The Partnership at Drugfree.org’s online news service that delivers the latest substance abuse and addiction news. Join Together is distributed daily and weekly to nearly 50,000 subscribers via an eNewsletter and published online (57,000 Unique Average Visitors/per month) at www.drugfree.org/join-together. Candice also manages the nonprofit’s social media communities on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. She conducts ongoing media relations and press outreach, drafts press materials, web content, eNewsletters and other printed collateral and maintains the organization’s editorial calendar. She was named one of the 2010 "New York’s Top PR Public Relations Firms and People: The Most Influential and Connected" by Sparkah.com, and in April 2012, she presented “Social Marketing, Media and Stigma Reduction” at the Joint Meeting on Adolescent Treatment Effectiveness conference in Washington, D.C. .
